CHOCS ‘N BOXES CHOCOLATES is an award winning chocolate artisan company founded by Gerardo and Sailyn Dean in 2021 with the mission to bring the authentic tastes of organic cacao from their family’s farms in the island of Samar, Philippines. Their unique value proposition lies in creating premium-quality handmade confections while ensuring sustainability for their cacao farms.

In the 2021-22 International Chocolate Awards – AMERICAS, the company won Silver for its Calamansi Caramel Bonbon, another Silver for Bahandi 40% Milk Chocolate, and a Bronze for Caramelized Hazelnut Milk Chocolate Dragee. The Calamansi bonbon went on to clinch a Bronze in the WORLD category in 2022.

The following year, its Pili Nut – Dates Squared Praline, Blueberry Compote Lynchee Ganache and HAMILI 50% Dark Milk Chocolate bar all won Silver awards while the “Kape Krunch” Coffee & Pili Nuts Milk Chocolate Bar and 70% Dark Chocolate with Orange Peel bar each won Bronze in the International Chocolate Awards – AMERICAS. The Pili Nut – Dates Pralines went on to clinch a SILVER in the 2023 WORL FINAL held in Florence, Italy.

Continuing our streak of excellence at the International Chocolate Awards 2023, Chocs n Boxes clinched additional honors, showcasing the diversity and innovation of our chocolate creations. Our “Dark Chocolate with Orange Peel” was celebrated for its vibrant citrus infusion, while “Kape Crunch” received accolades for ingeniously blending local coffee beans with smooth chocolate. The “Pili Dates Pralines” emerged as a favorite for their unique texture and nuanced sweetness. Lastly, the “Blueberry Compote Lychee Ganache” was lauded for its exceptional fusion of flavors, demonstrating our commitment to pushing the boundaries of chocolate artistry and delighting palates worldwide
